Megan Burford

Megan Burford is from Sacramento, California where at age 4, she began her lifelong interest in the performing arts taking tap and ballet lessons. At 10, she started her musical theater training with the Sacramento Musical Theatre and at 12, she began taking voice lessons. In high school, she had leading roles in musicals, and was in the jazz and classical choirs. She attended University of California at Irvine for one year where she continued her music and dance studies. When she transferred to the University of Southern California, she sang in the jazz choir and began singing solo jazz. At USC, she studied with Jennifer Barnes, Carmen Bradford, Anne Farnsworth and Tish Oney. She graduated in May 2007. She writes many of the arrangements for the Jazz Three-O and also sings in the cover band, Fastback.
